Pastor Dale Watson

Rev. Dale Watson came to pastor Young’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Kingston in November 2009. 

Rev. Watson has been in ministry since 1983. After graduating from Maryville College with a BA in religious studies he served as a youth minister for a total of seven years at First Methodist of Carthage, Texas and Brainerd Methodist, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He earned a Masters of Special Education from the University of Tennessee and taught special needs children for seven years in the public school system.

He has been a Cumberland Presbyterian minister for the past thirteen years and is a graduate of Memphis Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity.

Former Knoxville natives, Rev. Watson and his wife, Lori, and daughters Elizabeth and Sara, most recently moved from a CP church in north GA where he was pastor ten years. 

Rev. Watson and his family bring a warm and inviting spirit to Young’s Chapel, as well as a passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Come and join in worship with us and enjoy Rev. Watson and his family.
